Connect Qingping Monitors
Get your App Key and App Secret from the Qingping developer platform, then add your Air Monitor Pro, Air Monitor Lite, or Qingping 2.
displayAQI reads your Qingping monitors through the Qingping account that owns them. You need that account's App Key and App Secret from the Qingping developer platform.
displayAQI supports the Air Monitor Pro, Air Monitor Lite, and Qingping 2.
Get Your App Key and App Secret
Install Qingping+ from the App Store or Google Play.
Create or sign in to the Qingping account that will own the device.
In Qingping+, tap Add device and connect the monitor to its permanent Wi-Fi network.
Confirm the monitor shows readings in Qingping+.
Go to developer.qingping.co and log in with the same email and password.
Open Access Management.
Copy the App Key and App Secret.
Use the account that owns the device
Log in to the Qingping developer platform with the same email and password you use for Qingping+. Don't create a new account. If you set up monitors for a customer, keep the Qingping account with the customer.
Add the Devices to displayAQI
On the dashboard, select Add device.
Choose Qingping and select Continue with Qingping.
On the setup step, select I've done this.
Paste the App Key and App Secret, then select Connect.
Select the devices to add.
Select Add device, or Add N devices when you chose several. For your first devices, select Continue to billing and follow Get started with displayAQI.
Select Go to dashboard.
If your workspace already has Qingping keys saved, displayAQI skips the setup and keys steps and opens the device list.
Select Devices
The list shows every device on the Qingping account, 50 per page. Use Search this page, Previous, and Load more to find a device.
- Devices already in your workspace show Connected and can't be selected again
- Offline devices show an Offline badge and can still be added
- You can add up to 50 devices at a time, and up to 1,000 per workspace
What Happens Next
- A new device can show Waiting for first reading until its first reading arrives
- displayAQI sets each monitor to report every 5 minutes, and readings refresh about every 5 minutes
- The last 30 days of history import in the background, and the import continues if you close the dialog
- Each device keeps the name it has in Qingping; rename it in device settings
Next, place the devices in buildings, floors, and rooms.
Update Your Keys
Workspace admins can replace the saved keys.
Open Settings, then Credentials.
Enter the App Key and App Secret.
Select Test and save. Your devices reconnect on the next update.
Troubleshooting
| Message | What to do |

| Those keys didn't work. | Copy the App Key and App Secret again from Access Management at developer.qingping.co. Check that you use the account that owns the device. |
| Your keys worked, but no devices are linked to this Qingping account. | Open Qingping+ and confirm the monitor is added there. Then connect again. |
| Couldn't reach Qingping. | Try again in a moment. |
| Too many requests. | Wait a moment, then try again. Checking or saving keys allows one attempt every 30 seconds. |
