Add and Manage Clients
Create a client workspace, invite its first Workspace Manager, open it for setup, and see what clients and your staff can each do.
Create a Client Workspace
Open Clients.
Select New client workspace.
Enter the client's facility or company name under Workspace name.
Select Create workspace.
Creating a workspace costs nothing, uses no slots and doesn't send an invitation.
Invite the First Workspace Manager
In Clients, select the client's name to expand its row.
Under Client access, select Invite client user.
Enter the email of the person who will run the workspace for the client.
Select Send invitation.
The first invitation is always a Workspace Manager. After that, you can invite Workspace Managers or Viewers.
Before the Manager Accepts
Until the invited person accepts, the workspace has no client manager. The invitation stays listed under Client access as Pending, and you can select Send again or Revoke. Your staff can open and set up the workspace in the meantime.
Once a Workspace Manager is active, the last one can't be removed or demoted until another person takes the role.
What Clients Can Do
| Task | Workspace Manager | Viewer |
|---|---|---|
| View dashboards, history, device status, widgets and kiosks | Yes | Yes |
| Manage alerts, buildings, widgets, kiosks and display settings | Yes | No |

| Invite, change and remove Workspace Managers and Viewers | Yes | No |
| Connect or remove devices, manage provider credentials | No | No |
| See slots, prices, invoices or billing | No | No |
| Enter the partner console | No | No |
There's no limit on the number of client users.
Open a Client Workspace
Select Open dashboard on the client's row. This gives you administrator access to that workspace, which you need to connect devices and manage credentials.
- Clients can see which of your staff hold this access under Settings, then Access.
- Your Activity log records each grant.
- Removing a staff member under Access in the partner console ends their access to client workspaces too.
What Clients See
The client sidebar shows Service managed by and your partner account name, followed by a Contact link. The link opens an email to the contact address recorded when your account was set up. To change that address, contact us.
Clients have no Billing page, and they never see wholesale prices or invoices.
For permissions inside a workspace, see Invite your team and choose roles.
Set Up Your Partner Account
What you get when your partner account is activated, how to invite your staff, and what each section of the partner console does.
Connect Devices for a Client
Check a client's slots, connect its Qingping or AirGradient devices, place them in buildings, and rotate provider credentials.
