Suspend, End Service, or Close a Client

Pause a client workspace, schedule and complete the end of service, or close it for good, and see what the client experiences in each state.

Find the actions in Clients, in the actions menu on the client's row.

Pause and Resume a Client

Open the actions menu on the client's row and select Pause workspace….

Confirm with Pause workspace. The client's status changes to Suspended.

Workspace access, device updates, alerts, widgets and kiosks pause. Data, users, devices and slots stay in place, and so does the client's subscription. Your partner Owners and the client's Workspace Managers get an email when a workspace is paused or resumed.

To restore service, select Resume workspace…, then Resume workspace. You can't pause your internal workspace, and you can't buy slots for a paused client.

Schedule the End of Service

Open the actions menu and select Set service end date….

Choose the date under Service ends on.

Add an Internal note if you want one. The client never sees it.

Select Set end date.

Scheduling doesn't change the client's service. The workspace keeps running and the client sees no difference. You can't buy new slots for a client with a scheduled end. On the client's row, the status reads Service ending, then Ready to offboard once the date has passed.

Use Change service end date… or Cancel service end at any time before offboarding is complete.

Offboard a Client

When the status reads Ready to offboard:

Open the client's dashboard with Open dashboard and remove each device. Each removal frees one slot.

When no devices remain, an Owner selects Complete offboarding in the client's row details.

The workspace is paused and its status becomes Offboarded. Offboarding can't be reversed from the console. Every device was removed first, so no slots remain in use. Billing doesn't change on its own, so use Turn off renewal… in Slots to end the client's subscription at its renewal date.

Close a Client Workspace

Only Owners can close a workspace, and every device must be removed first.

Open the actions menu and select Close workspace….

Type the workspace name to confirm.

Enter a reason of at least 8 characters. displayAQI records the reason in your Activity log.

Confirm your identity again when prompted.

Select Close workspace.

Dashboard access, device updates, alerts, invitations, widgets and kiosk links stop immediately. Users keep their accounts. displayAQI keeps history, configuration, audit records and billing records. Closing can't be undone, and members lose access to the workspace.

If Your Partner Account Is Suspended

All client workspaces and public displays pause until displayAQI restores service. You can still sign in to the partner console and manage staff.
